This release adds an opt-in Instant Dictation mode, makes corrections faster and sharper, smooths out sign-in, and fixes a couple of platform issues.
Instant Dictation (Beta)
- Turn it on in Settings to have your words appear the moment you stop talking, instead of waiting for processing to finish.
- Any misheard homophones (like "their" vs "there") quietly snap into place a beat later — so you get the speed without losing the accuracy.
- It is off by default while in beta — flip the "Instant dictation" toggle to try it.
Faster, Sharper Corrections
- A new correction engine plus an always-warm connection make homophone and formatting fixes both quicker and more accurate.
Smoother Sign-In
- Sign-in now uses trusted-device authentication that rides through network and IP changes, so you stop getting unexpectedly logged out.
Bug Fixes
- macOS: fixed a case where rapid back-to-back dictation could get stuck.
- Windows: fixed the Pulse indicator not appearing in its idle state.
