Scout v1.0.62
Dictations that start slowly or get recovered now type in like normal.
This one makes sure your words end up where you were typing, even when the connection is slow.
Slow starts no longer lose your dictation
- If Scout took a few seconds to connect when you started talking (for example right after your computer wakes up), it could give up when you let go and type nothing. It now waits until everything you said has gone through, then types it in.
- Scout now retries a stuck sign-in check after 4 seconds instead of waiting 10, so your first dictation after waking starts sooner.
- On a slow or busy internet line, Scout waits a little longer for your words instead of giving up.
Recovered words are typed in
- When Scout has to recover a dictation, it now types the words in where you were, as long as you're still in the same text box and haven't started another dictation. Otherwise they wait in Activity, like before.
- Recovered dictations are marked "Recovered" in Activity so they're easy to find.
