Scout v1.0.20

More accurate dictation, a new way to review your output, and Pulse stays out of your way in fullscreen.

Dictation is more accurate, there’s a new way to review what you’ve said, and Pulse knows when to get out of the way.

More Accurate Dictation

We fixed a bunch of formatting quirks that were getting in the way of natural dictation. Lists, punctuation, and capitalization all work more reliably now.

  • Saying “item one, number two” formats correctly instead of eating the comma.
  • Capitalization commands no longer strip trailing punctuation.
  • Navigation and punctuation commands work better at sentence boundaries.

Dictation Detail View

Tap any dictation entry in Activity to see the full formatted text, word count, and duration. There’s a copy button too, so you can grab the text without scrolling back through your history.

Fullscreen Auto-Hide

Pulse now hides when you go fullscreen — YouTube, presentations, video calls, games. It comes back when you exit. No setting to toggle, it just stays out of your way.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue on macOS where audio recording could time out during longer sessions.
  • Fixed the report button disappearing after restarting the app.
  • Cleaner, more consistent icons in Activity.
