Sharper, more accurate transcription
Scout now runs on AssemblyAI's newest real-time speech model. In our testing it's noticeably better on the hard stuff — technical terms, product names, and tricky phrasing — while staying just as fast. You don't have to change anything; every dictation is already using it.
Homophone fixes, now free for everyone
"Their" vs "there," "do" vs "due," "write" vs "right" — Scout picks the right spelling from context so you're not constantly fixing it yourself. This used to be Pro-only; now everyone gets it. (Pro still adds smart formatting, Magic Edit, and per-app writing styles.)
Bug fixes
- No more stray comma or dash occasionally showing up at the very start of a dictation.
- Fixed leftover "um, uh" sometimes sticking to the end of a sentence.
