Scout v1.0.49
Scout’s recovery system now reaches the final words of an interrupted dictation, while Windows terminal inputs paste your new dictation reliably.

Recovery that reaches the very end
Scout already protects dictations when the transcription connection drops. This update closes the remaining edge case: speech spoken after the last confirmed transcript.
- Scout recovers only the missing final words and safely appends them to your dictation.
- If you moved to another input, the recovered text is copied to your clipboard instead of risking a paste in the wrong place.
- Activity History automatically updates with the recovered words.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an intermittent Windows issue where Claude Code, Codex, and other terminal-style inputs could paste your previous clipboard contents instead of the new dictation.
- Made clipboard restoration safe across rapid dictations and background corrections, preserving what you copied before dictating.
