Scout v1.0.56

A fast follow-up that makes the first-word fix stick on more microphones.

Scout 1.0.56 is a fast follow-up to this morning's release — it makes the first-word fix stick on more microphones.

First words, take two

Yesterday's fix waited for your microphone to report real audio before playing the start chime. It turns out some microphones whisper a trace of static while they're still waking up, which fooled the check and let clipped first words through. Scout now waits for genuinely audible signal before it tells you to talk.

And if your setup never behaves the way Scout expects — some noise-suppression tools keep the microphone perfectly silent between words — Scout notices within a few dictations and stops holding the chime, so starting a dictation never feels sluggish.
